How to clear Downloads Folder in Win 7 (starter)?

As title says, can anyone give me instructions how to "delete all" items in my Downloads folder? My computer seems to keep them FOREVER, and i can only figure our how to delete them one at a time. I'm sure there's a way to "delete all" ?? Help?

    Welcome to the Seven Forums

Have you tried to go to Organize and then go to Select all and then click on the delete button.

First click on start button then go to computer and then click on downloads folder. You can select the file and press delete. You can use also Shift + delete. That's mean you can permanently delete files on a windows based computer.

You can try other option to clear downloads folder - Press Control + J. You can select the file and click Remove from list. For all file delete you can press clear all option.
