Dual Monitors: Download Icons Should Appear Only on Monitor 2

I've set up dual monitors so that all desktop icons are on Monitor 2. I like all downloads to go to the desktop, but they appear on Monitor 1.
Is there any way to cause the download icons to appear only on Monitor 2?

The problem is that monitor 1 is your default monitor and Windows saves the download to the default monitor. Without a background program redirecting the download, or some fancy registry editing (which is beyond me, sorry), I don't think you'll be able to do what you want to.

Bongo, the question has been answered, so is it now ok if I ask the OP a question ??? :)

beau, why aren`t your downloads going to your downloads folder ?????????

No reason for downloads to go to your desktop.

    Hi AddRAM ~
I send downloads to the desktop just because usually when I download something I want to access it immediately, so if it's on the desktop I don't have to open the Downloads folder

But since I like the setup with empty monitor 1 desktop so much, I'll henceforth send downloads to the Download folder and make a little keyboard macro to open it quick . . . problem solved

beau, I`m still not understanding your logic, what are you downloading that needs a key to open it more then once, you download a program, you install it, you delete the executable in your downloads folder or save the install file for a future install if you like the program.

    Enlighten me please :)

    Hi again addRAM ~
You're prob not understanding my logic because it wasn't very logical !
I've re-arranged things so downloads now to the Download folder, and everything proceeds as you say: install it, you delete the executable in your downloads folder or save the install file if you like the program.

    Thanks again.
