    The problem is coming from users not paying attention and installing the upgrade to Windows 10 update by mistake since it's selected by default.

    You can't claim users not paying attention as Microsoft forcing you to upgrade. That's just a bunch of media hype trying to get headlines, views, and ratings.

    ...and you have the option to not install in Windows Update, or just to disable it.

    If one did upgrade to Windows 10 by mistake, they can use the go back to previous Windows feature in Windows 10 to undo it.

    I hope all these updates stop on July 29th, I for one am sick of it and would like to just start hearing about Windows 7 problems here again.

    Not gonna happen.

    Microsoft has confirmed that July 29, 2016 is the last day you can take advantage of the free upgrade offer.
