i could not write iso file using imgburn to my cdrw

    Hi,
I could not burn iso to cd rw using imgburn with error saying layouts do not match verified failed error. I could see the process of burning and completing and then ejecting the tray messages, then this error occurs and i could not see any file in the cdrw.
It is windows xp , hp laptop.
I am having optiarc dvd rw 7530 a , drive, which i think from its marks, dvd rw, that it should be able to burn.
When i use the microsoft fix it, it says, INstall cd dvd writers, I do not know how to install, cd dvd writers. Is it not auto inbuilt function of cd drive. i raise this question in this forum, as dvd drive is same for xp and windows 7. If any solution, could be had , i will be pleased

Seems you have 2 threads going about the same issue, let`s see if an Admin will delete this one.

Hi, Thanks for information. But i want a solution. The thread would be related, but the contents would definitely differ.
INstall cd dvd writers is the message when i use the ms fix it and i do not know what it means. Is it related to driver or drive.

Yes but your 2 threads are about the same exact issue.

The mods don`t like people to post duplicate threads.
