    Easy Transfer Missing

When I typed 'easytransfer' in the start menu search box Windows Easy Transfer did not show up as it did in the past. However, migwiz.exe is in C:\Windows\System32 right where I think it is suppose to be and it does an 'Old Machine' transfer just fine.

It took a bit of searching to find the name of Easy Transfer and locating it and I'm sure I will have forgotten its name and location by the time I want to use it again. Can someone tell me how I can get the Start Search box to find it for me again?

    Thank you very much.

Start -> All programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> "Windows Easy Transfer"

Alternately type "Windows Easy Transfer" in the search field.

    Thank you.

That is exactly what I did and it didn't appear. The closest thing was 'Easy Transfer Reports' from previous uses of Easy Transfer. No Windows Easy Transfer that I got previously.

The All Programs route yielded only Windows Easy Transfer Reports like happened using the search field method. Go figure!

actual path the executable is: %windir%\system32\migwiz\migwiz.exe

If it is there then make a shortcut to it. Otherwise I agree...download it from Microsoft.

Sorry, but I'm a little dense right now after raking leaves all day and don't quite understand.
