Can't boot with graphics card driver enabled
Hello everyone,
I've run into a bit of an issue since a recent hd wipe and fresh windows 7 install.
After getting windows re-installed, then installing drivers for my video card (AMD Radeon 6500 series), I run into an issue where my computer won't completely boot. It just goes to a blue screen with a windows logo on it that only fills maybe 2/3 of my monitor. No start button, no icons, no mouse pointer.
If I reboot into safe mode, that works. And if I disable the video card using the hardware manager, I'm able to then reboot windows normally. If I try re-enabling the video card drivers I just run into the previously mentioned boot issue again.
Things I've tried already...
1. Updated all drivers using Driver Fusion (Driver Fusion | Update, manage and monitor drivers & devices | Treexy)
2. Tried both AMD and Intel Drivers (same result)
3. Ran windows update to ensure everything else was up to date.
If anyone has any ideas I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks!!
