Win 7 Pro Shutdown Briefly Flashes Unwanted Image Before Shutting Down
Somehow, an image that I did not knowingly download to my system very briefly flashes on as soon as I start a shutdown of my system. It is only displayed (like a logoff screen would be) for about a second, then it disappears and my normal shutdown screen appears and the shutdown proceeds normally. I have no idea where this image came from, although it is an image of a car and I was browsing through ads for cars on the internet for several days before this started.
I know how to start up Win 7 using a manual step-by-step startup, but I cannot find any way to do this for a shutdown. Is there any way for me to manually observe the steps of the shutdown process in the same way in hopes I could find where this image is on my PC? Or something else I could do to get rid of it? It displays briefly right after the shutdown procedure finishes the initial "closing running applications" procedure (it always has to shut down the Magnifier app on my system) and after a brief second it then displays my normal shutdown/logoff screen.
Thanks
