Desktop icons move after every re boot

Anyone else have this problem? I re-arrange them and when I reboot they're all over the place.

Win 7 64 dsktop ... Desktop Icons move and resize.
My desktop Icons are locked in place. I move them to desire position and when I REFRESH the desktop, they return to previous position. They also change size after a reboot. Can someone assist me with this problem.

Desktop icons copy when I move them
I am new to Windows 7. For some reason, when we move our desktop icons, they copy themselves. My son had the entire screen filled with copies of 5 icons! How do I stop copying the icons when they are moved? Thanks for any help!
