windows won't start after updates

    windows won't start after updates


    so I got 9 updates a few days ago and now my pc doesn't like going past the starting Windows screen. it sits there for about 5 mins then bsod on me. after about like an hour or so of this it randomly starts up and let's me into the PC bitnsays all them updates have failed and wants to download and install them again thust starting this while thing over again when I turn off the PC

    Hello mate loads of problems with updates right now if you haven't tried before do a system restore see if that helps.

    For the BSOD stuff you need to do these
    Dump Files - Configure Windows to Create on BSOD
    &
    Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions

    we cannot do anything about them until we can see those results but try the restore first.

    The updates went throw shocking tho it has more it wants to to download so I'm like NO right. It started up today ok but I seem to be missing a hard drive that windows isn't seeing. The BIOS sees it but not windows and its not in Disk Management ether.


    I'll give it a few more days to see how it does starting up for now.

    can the hard drive be dead even if the BIOS can find it? Nothing in windows is able to see it even in diskpart/list disk only showing disk 0-3
