Downgrade from 64 bit to 32bit?

    Downgrade from 64 bit to 32bit?


    is this possible? I downloaded the 64bit from the .edu email address thing, but I want 32bit...

    you will have to do a new install. Just download the 32 bit, the key works for both 64 or 32 bit versions.

    Downloading Windows is kind of a gray area. Personally I don't think there's anything wrong with downloading Windows from any location if you already have a legitimate serial that you bought and paid for.

    and then enter in my key for windows pro... will this update to windows 7 pro? 32bit?

    i agree, but you can Probably download it where ever you dl'd the x64... if not you can find it online.... torrents maybe? i mean you have the serial key..... you should be able too.

    torrents is a way but make sure its a clean image not some modded one.

    I am surprised microsoft dont offer download links as there is probably a lot of people who may want to do clean reinstalls but have no media, typically oem users.
