    New Laptop for Windows 7

I need to get a new laptop and wonder which one will allow me to remove Windows 10 and replace it with Windows 7. It should be at least a 15'' one with drivers available from the manufacture to support Windows 7. At one Dell offered Win 7 machines rather than Win 8 or 10 but they don't seem to do so anymore. I am willing to replace the HD with a new one on which I can install Win 7.

    Does anyone have suggestions?

    Thank you very much.

The device drivers for Windows 10 or 8 could also be installed on Windows 7, but 32-bit drivers couldn't be installed on 64-bit OS, and 64-bit drivers couldn't be installed on 32-bit OS.

As Windows 7 doesn't support UEFI secure boot, so you need to change the boot mode from UEFI to Legacy and disable Secure Boot if you want to install Windows 7.

There are a number of W 7 machine from Dell, Lenovo and HP that are still in the warehouse. I have my preferences and others will offer theirs. If yo want great prices you can Google. Keep in mind that the next generation of W10 machines may be built with CPU specific drivers for W10 only - this is a Microsoft mandate, btw.
    Good luck

Same advice as jc836 before you hand over your money check the Dell website to make sure the computer has drivers you can download for Windows 7.

Also be aware that you may have to roll back the BIOS to an earlier version to even be able to install Windows 7.

    Hi,
Most manufactures still sell win-7 machines you just have to go to the business sections to get them.
