How do I replace Windows 8.1 frequently visited folders to recently?

An example:

Unlike the previous OS I've had (Win7), instead of showing me recently visited folders, it only provides me with a list of my most frequently visited folders. It is comfortable, I'll admit. But why do I need this when I have the ability to pin folders? I would rather have my recently visited folders instead if possible.

thank you lads

I would guess from reading this,

Recent Items and Frequent Places - Turn On or Off in Windows 8

The difference between frequent and recent is,

This will show you how to turn on or off storing and displaying of recent items in taskbar Jump Lists and frequent places in File Explorer,
I'm not sure if you can change it honestly.

Disable Frequently Opened Folders
I searched a little on here and couldn't find an answer. I'm trying to disable the list of frequently opened folders when I click my Windows Explorer icon in the task bar. I just pin my commonly opened folders and the frequent list is redundant. I know I got rid of it in my beta build, but now I...
