Box shows up in fullscreen mode

So this happens when I'm on YouTube and I think on Facebook. When I enter full screen mode, a box appears on the top of the screen telling me I'm in full screen mode (duh). The reason I post this question is because up until not too long ago, I never got that box, ever. Is there any way to keep it from appearing? Included is a picture of the offending box.

Does it not disappear after a few moments? This, I would think to be a You Tube poblem not Windows!

It appears whenever I first full screen a video on YouTube and it has done it, in the past with Facebook. It never used too. I really hate it. It's like "No duh it's full screen, I just full screened it!!!" lol It does it to my best friend on his Windows 8.1 machine also.

As I said it is nothing to do with Windows!!! I asked if it disappears after a few moments? Please reply. If it annoys you that much I suggest you contact You Tube!

I see it with Netflix videos. There's a FF addon to disable it, presumably that means you can disable it in other browsers too.
