    Canīt install any OS on Sony Vaio!


    Hi guys, i really have a big problem with a SONY VAIO VGN-FZ31S , a friend give me this laptop for a windows 7 installation so when i try to enter on windows it was taking much time (10-15min) and after that the blue screen appears and windows restart, so i try to install windows 7 by DVD and bootable usb, it doesnīt work, i format the hdd , search a lot of tutorials on internet but no one works! I tryed run mini windows xp but it doesnīt work,yesterday i installed it ubuntu last version and it works, but when the pc restarts it crashed.

    SPECS
    SONY VAIO VGN-FZ31S
    BIOS VERSION-R2110J7
    RAM-4096GB
    HDD- 250GB hitachi
    INTEL CENTRINO

    I canīt find more specs, please help me with this, i want to install it windows 7 .
    (I try with VISTA , UBUNTU, 7 ALL VERSIONS,XP none of this works)

    Welcome to the forums, you want to for sure test your ram with memtest86+ to start as it most certailny seems like a harware problem if ubuntu crashs as well as windows.
