    Is it safe to delete the contents located in Appdata/Local/Apps/2.0 ?


    Hi,

    I was curious if I could delete the folder contents located in Appdata/Local/Apps/2.0.

    The folders have some gibberish names.

    And it has mostly some Google stuff located in there. Probably from the Clickonce installation.

    I mean it couldn't harm my computer if I deleted those folders, right?

    There's a long thread here on this subject:
    What is this folder - "Apps" in appdata/local/
    Backup your system with free Macrium Reflect then if you get a disastrous result on deleting the folder it will take you just minutes to restore your system!

Hi, I ran a disc cleanup a couple of days after I got my new PC and there is approx 1gb of material which it is showing as files for removal which I think are mostly system files. Is it safe to delete all of this content ? Advise appreciated. Thanks Andy
i have a user name john, whose appdata\windows folder properties shows 1GB file size, but when i select all subfolders and right click properties, it only shows 500MB. can i delete the this appdata\windows folder or not?????????????????
