When i close the lid or turn off the laptop the first time, it is fine, and goes to sleep and i can wake it up again. But the second time i do it, the power light stays on and doesn't blink like it shoud, and when i try to awake it, it doesn't wake up, but i still cannot hear the hard drive, the screen doesn't turn on. I have tried turning on or off Hybrid sleep, resetting the laptop, closing the lid slower, closing the lid faster, every time, it just freezes and i have to hard reset it. The laptop is only 1 day old, and has an almost fresh install of Windows 7, with Minecraft, Firefox, Speedfan and Ultradefrag installed. I tried searching online, but i found apsolutely nothing. And sorry for my bad English in some areas, english is not my main language

It even happens when the laptop has been put to sleep and then shut down. I also installed ALL drivers, the problem still persists. the only thing missing in the Device Manager is a USB 3 host controller, which i woudn't think would be the problem

Well, i guess this thread is abandoned. no one to help me, and nothing on the internet to help me. I guess I will just have to live with turning off the laptop when i close the screen. The hard drive defragments in 5 minutes anyway, and if i keep it defragmented it boots up in less than a minute. If anyone else has had this problem, and has been able to fix it, please post here!
