Handwriting Input Panel keeps popping up

    Handwriting Input Panel keeps popping up


    Can anyone tell me how to disable the handwriting tool (image attached) that pops up whenever I place a cursor in text?

    For example, if I open Notepad, the tool appears just below the blinking cursor and doesn't go away until I start typing.

    I understand that this tool allows the user to enter text using handwriting, which is something I do not want or need.

    FYI this tool began popping up after I installed an Intuos tablet. Regardless of whether the tablet is turned on or off, the tool always follows my cursor around.

    Is there an option to disable the tool so that it never pops up? If so, I can't find it.

    hi
    I would start by looking in the settings for intous tablet.
    if can't find anything their. then uninstall the tablet and see if it goes away. if it does then it might be something you cant get rid of when you have the tablet installed.

How do I trun this off please, it keeps popping up on my screen and is docked on the left hand side just lurking and waiting to appear! A damned nuisance but I can't find a way of closing it down... Help please! Regards, RonBin79

In the Accessories folder, there is an item as titled above, which I'm not familiar with. When I select it, nothing happens. I went to Help and Support and found the data about it, and even clicked a link within it to start the panel, but again, it didn't work. Is there a specific service...
