Start bar turned grey, Security Center doesn't want to turn on

    Hi,

I am not a well experienced person in IT. I have faced a problem with my laptop and it's symptoms or history are as following:
    - LAN connection was with no internet access several times this week, but after a computer restart it returned healthy.
    - I've disabled by mistake Microsoft 2013 from msconfig startup tab, to stop launching Lync in start up programs.
    - After several attempts to recover my LAN connection, the start bar became grey, no internet access, no access to McAfee unless on scan mode, cannot restore settings even with safe mode, it justs doesn't respond, as well as an important message appears in the flag icon to turn on service security, once attempted it returns with the following message "the windows security centre service can't be started".
    - several services are not responding unless in safe mode.

    Please advise with way forward.

    Thanks in advance.

HI Mskhatib and welcome to Seven Forums.
First thing I would try is in Control Panel System Settings System Protection System Restore and find a restore point before this happened. Good Luck.
