    Delete has disappeared

Elderly W7 with Office, has worked well, although lightly loaded, for the past 5-6 years.
Since downloading PrivaZer recently (that might be a co-incidence) when I right click on a file or photo I don't get the usual menu that includes 'Set as desktop background' and 'Delete' t5ogether with others.
There has been all the usual W automatic updates.
Is there a way of bringing 'delete' back?
I also installed PrivaZ|er on my other W7 pc at about the same time and it works fine.
I think that PrivaZer made a Restore Point before it began downloading/installing.
A quick word of advice about restoring the pc before this restore point (if that is what you recommend) would be a help.
If I did this, would the PrivaZer prog simply disappear into thin air?
    Is this a known risk?

I know nothing about Privazer or any known issues.

"Cleaners" are generally not recommended around here, with the exception of CCleaner--and most people would tell you not to use the registry cleaning section of CCleaner.

Using a restore point often works, but if your goal is to get rid of Privazer, why not just uninstall it?

    Suggest: Restore your registry backup.

    Delete has disappeared-privazer.jpg

Or open backups folder and inspect (right click files and open with text editor) to see what was deleted.

Maybe read this for next time:

    Thanks for the advice.
I am well out of my depth here.
I saw this cleaner in a magazine article and thought that the pc, being a few years old, would benefit from the equivalent of a squirt of bleach down the toilet.
The loss of 'delete' might not be due to this: is there a way to check on it in any way?

Zip your PrivaZer registry backups folder and upload it here. We will take a look at the deleted registry entries.

RE: "Set as desktop background" missing when right clicking on image files.

Take a look at Brink's tutorial here:

"Set as desktop background" - Add or Remove in Windows

Download the file in Step 1 and merge it with registry. I've checked - the entries are the same in Windows 7.

    Then do Steps 3,4,5,& 6

    Reboot.

Thanks for the help, but as I said, I am out of my depth.
Various other problems have recently arisen on this 6-year old pc so I am going to pension it off.
    Thanks again
