Eh...If you guys have no plans on switching to Windows 10 after this OS dies. Then you shouldn't really use a computer imho. (Don't hate me)

I agree with two of those three words.

Mine would be, Linux Mint MATE.

IMO, Linux Mint is quite usable.
By 2020, there should have been 8 or 9 additional (hopefully improved) versions.

I wont see that notice, all machines apart from one are already upgraded and my desktop is not compatible so that wont get the notice. Good luck to all those sticking with 7 but I'll say that 10 is a good OS and you shouldn't be frightened of it, get it while you can for free.

Tried it for 10 months (a fair shot) and in the end I hated it. I still have one Win10 install as a VM just to open it every couple months to remind me just how much I hate it.

    (Posted from Linux Mint Cinnamon.)

Why the snippy stuff? Use what OS you want and be happy with your choice. People staying with 7 are not Luddites. People moving on to 10 are not morons. People opting out altogether and going to Linux are not weirdos. People using several OS's at once are not crazy. Do what you want, be happy, and stop ridiculing or chiding people who have made a different choice. Isn't that what freedom is about?
