    first option
System restore prior to the change, and dont re-install that prog.

Click your start orb and type system restore into the search box and access it from there.

    Hi Krishn3,
Backing up data is the smart thing to do, ALL the time.

Regarding the loss of data it depends on when you last created a restore point, the older the date the more info lost.

    Problem Solved:)

Yesterday i was experimenting with some solutions and finally one solution worked for my windows explorer weird block image problem.

@ first thought of doing system restore as suggested by seven guru's but decided to give a shot to changing the current theme.

As i could not open control panel,i had to do this with cmd with admin rights.
Using the rundll32 command i was able to change my theme and solve my problem too(A huge relief!)

I used the following command syntax:
    C:\Windows\System32> rundll32.exe %SystemRoot%\system32\shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL %SystemRoot%\system32\desk.cpl desk,@Themes /Action:OpenTheme /file:"C:\Windows\Resources\Themes\nature.theme

From what i understood the problem i faced was due to some corruption of custom theme.well ALL's well that end's well :)
