    Problem with a svchost.exe (netsvcs)

For some strange reason this process is using about 12% of my cpu. It never stops unless I suspend it. But then I cannot browse. So I have to unsuspend it to browse.

Any ideas what could be happening? This is not normal as far as I know.
Avira and Malwarebytes show no problems.

    Hi,
The only affective way to suspend it would be to switch your windows update settings to Never check for updates.

You can use option 3 to reset windows updates history....
    Windows Update - Reset

See if you have the latest update client installed first,

MCSeven, I made a thread about that very same issue which I have on all my units for months. As TrashZone mention, set update to never check seems to be the (only) way..

Tried emptying events log and all that stuff , just disabling automatic updates did the trick

    Hi and welcome to SevenForums,
Making sure you have these updates installed is the best fix
    KB3020369 & KB3172605
    If not manually install them
When manually installing updates you need to switch your update settings to Never check for updates and restart the machine first.
