Save As > RECENT PLACES (missing)

    1. Recent places link missing on our other PC when wanting to save a file. "RECENT PLACES" option not there. (see pic)
    2. Same goes for "DESKTOP". It also is not appearing as a save-to link.

    Hello,

Try this: Click on yellow folder on taskbar (Explorer), right click on Favorites, click on Restore favorite links.

In addition: Recent Items - Turn On or Off

    Hello AaLF, :)

You might see if restoring "Recent Places" in Favorites using the method below may be able to help.

Favorites - Restore Default Favorite Links in Navigation Pane

Reviewing your post history, I see you've had past issues with Recent Places.

If you'd like, you could create a new user account. Afterwards, if Recent Places is now working in the new account, move your important files into the new user account and delete the old user account with the broken Recent Places.
