    Ok, those reRegister utilities were for Internet Explorer, so those are out. Have you tried tweaking.com's Windows Repair (All in One)? Sometimes it fixes things, sometimes it cannot.
    Do you have recent restorable backups of your Data folders and files on trusted external media?

    no i don't but i will try tweaking.com windows repair is it safe to use it's not going to knacker my laptop and lose everything is it how do i download it free or pro version but i will do it another time when you are back online so you can help me run through it correctly okay mate

    RolandJS also windows updates are not working as well stuck at downloading updates 0% left laptop on while at work still at downloading updates 0% will tweaking.com windows repair fix this as well or not

    I'll be in and out constantly today, not reliably online today. Yes, WR(AiO) has a checkbox or two for tweaking and fixing Windows Update.

Hy, need some help! I've been trying to paste some files on my laptop, the "copy" button on right clicking a file is available, but the "paste" stays light shaded (grey) or not appearing, like if nothing was copied before it. And even Ctrl + C/ Ctrl + v is not working - no file on my windows can...
