    Explorer crash after right click


    Explorer crash when I want to see file propertis. Under more information button I have listed files helping descibe a problem :

    C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Local\Temp\WER7659.tmp.WERInternalMetadata.xml
    C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Local\Temp\WER81FE.tmp.appcompat.txt
    C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Local\Temp\WER822E.tmp.hdmp

    I scan a computer view AV and computer is clear. All drivers are up to date. What else can I do ?

    System : Windows 7 HP 64 bits
    Computer : Dell optilex 755
    Intel C2D E7500 2x 2,9GHz

    Hi dhomson123, welcome to Seven Forums.

    Does Explorer crash every time you check on a file properties, or only when you check on the ones that you have listed.

    The ones you have listed with the WERxxxtmp are Windows Error Reporting files & are sent back to Microsoft to try & find a solution.
    If you wish to get rid of those files, you can run Disc Clean up, but be sure to select Run as Administrator & it will get rid of those files.

    Not every time. Sumetimes I can open 10 properties and sometimes when I open one file properties explorer is crashing.

    It can be a virus becouse I have same sytuation on both computer, but I scan computers with scanners like :
    Eset, f-secure, malwarebytes, spy-bot.. Nothing was found.
