a link to the clear cache prog for Win7

I've tried a search to get that clear cache program from SevenForums to install on another machine.

The completed cmd.exe does not transfer correctly to the System 32 subfolder as when it auto installs. Or I moved it incorrectly. So I'll run your routine for it on the box itself.

    Any help appreciated.

I'm getting some pop ups on the desktop from Nero of all things.

Haven't used Nero in any way for a long time.

    Hello loninappleton, :)

Which cache did you want to clear?

Ok I will try those though I saw them but couldn't get how they are named.

The one I want to use goes to Windows System 32 directory.

The one I have doesn't seem to open correctly.

I have run these two routines.

But my notation on the original clear cache cmd.exe says 'clear clip board'. It was my notation for the shotcut while it was fresh in mind. Is there yet another one of these short maintenance programs?

The original one simply winks at the screen from C: drive. That is called cmd.exe and I cannot open it as text to see what it does on the original installation. I'll see if I can review my threads

Not many Thumbs to clear. I had turned off thumbs long ago.

If you're wanting one for the clipboard instead, then you might see if one of these below was it.

    Found that clear clipboard shortcut:

Clear Clipboard Shortcut - Create in Windows

I remember what happened with this now: Clipboard would not clear from a cut and paste
after using Open Office Writer back to Notepad to remove text enhancements. OO Writer
is used for spell check etc. The text stayed in the clipboard wherever I went next.

I can mark this solved but the other short routines are valuable as well.
