Power button is on but no display

    It seems that when you press the power button the MB is energized (the orange light of the wifi switch turns on, the caps lock light keeps blinking, you can hear the fan running) but it doesn't boot.
    I have a friend's Samsung that's in the same situation. As he lives by the sea, I've opened the case to see if there was some oxidation, cleaned the heat sink without any results.
    It can be many things, (internal power supply, chipset, CPU etc), even defective memory. Sorry, I can't help you further.
