USB write usb target folder access denied, you need permission...

    Hello guys,

I am admin on the computer but somehow (may be via group policy) I can not write/delete to my USB. By the way this is a corporate laptop. I tried couple of ways to fix it but couldn't manage. Is there a way to fix this issue?

Thanks in advance and best regards.

I can be a group policy as your company may be blocking access to external devices to avoid people copying data to it.
I suggest you ask the IT people about.

You can try to search on the group policy if there is a USB restriction.
Click Start , type gpedit.msc in the Start Search box, and then press ENTER.

Did you tried another USB disk to see if the restrictions also apply s?
It can be that the restrictions are on the files, not on the disk.
