not understand your post. however in your picture if you grow vertical the window so the scroll bars disappear and you can see entire embedded content. Then you must move main window up high enough to snip entire embed page/image.

'what' should do it? - zoom out decrease image resolution of snip. Goal is to vertical 'grow' to see all of image, then move window significant distance up for snip of entire image but cannot move main window vertical enough.
Okay if image quality is what you need try the software mentioned. I haven't used it personally so can;t comment.
Download PicPick - MajorGeeks
OK - I am not understanding how to use PicPick. If someone can walk me thru the PicPick steps to capture the image in the link I provided in post #9 ...
It's not clear to me.
Do you need to capture the entire contents of the scrolling windows and save as a single image?
Or just save one of those large images where it doesn't fit on screen?
Anyway here's the first image from that page you posted.

Google books is different. Don't ask me why, I don't know enough about web page coding to answer that, but it is. The only software I know that can capture from Google Books is FastStone Capture. Super easy to use but after 15 day trial it will cost you $20. See pic below
