Install win 7 on hp 260 - p026

    I failed to add that I copied the windows 7 partition from my old pc to an external (usb 2.0 connected)and it booted right to it on the old pc BUT it would NOT boot on the new PC.

    It's official


    Windows 7 will NOT run on hp 260-p026. I have an external IDE drive drive with a working Win 7 dual booted with Linux Mint 17.3. I hooked it up - Linux works FINE, Windows 7 will NOT load. THERE YOU HAVE IT!!
