Temp files filling up C drive

Ive noticed my Windows\temp folder keeps filling up with cab_4975 all of which are 122mb. All files are identical in size with the last 4 numbers differing. My pc is a HTPC running WMC and cyberlink powerdvd14. Other than that everything is standard. I use Defender as my AV. does anyone know why my win 7 pro keeps doing this? Im using an ssd and as we all know it wears them out.

Hardly ever run it. But WMC is running 24/7. Im gonna look through the logs next time it creates one and try to find which process is doing it. I was just curious if its only my system doing it or if its a common issue.

As a side note, Ive set my F drive as the recording location for the TV, with my C drive being filled up I couldnt record to my F drive which was only half full. Does WMC record to the c drive and pass it to the F drive.

Although 122Mb is nothing big, you should do some maintenance.
    - Reboot your computer, at least, once a week.
    - Run disk cleanup once a month.

You can set WMC to record any where you want (computer or network).
