Try selling recordings on eBay or Amazon and watch your account get sanctioned, you're subject not only to the laws of the region where the broadcast happens, but the original international copyright vested in the studio/publisher.
Recordings are Ok for personal use, but improper redistribution is generally regarded as somewhat of a cardinal sin
TV shows and movies are copywrited and you have to have permission to post the whole show. If it's just snippets it's probably okay. It's all about profitabilty.
When in doubt, abstain.
I can't think of one place that allows copyright material on the web.

Usually a lincenced product will mention in part or in it's entirety.

Even though the majority of films are copyrighted, there are some that are out of copyright, and since they can be legally downloaded (Internet Archive), they could be used in the fashion that you asked about.
