190 gb OS (C) partition showing 95gb of files with 15gb free???

I am trying to find more storage space on my 750gb desktop hard drive.

The OS (C) partition is 191 GB with 15 GB of free space left. I have checked the contents of this partition and
am able to find a total of only 80 gb which comprise of the following large folders

    User Files 48gb
    Windows 15gb
    Program Files 8gb
Recovery 9gb there are many smaller files that add up to less than 1gb

The total folders on this partition add up to about 81gb yet the drive is showing only 15gb of free space left
There are 95gb unaccounted for......What am I missing here?

Run WizTree (free) to see what it shows, they have a portable version available.
Antibody Software - WizTree finds the files and folders using the most disk space on your hard drive

    Don`t forget

    System restore

    Page File

Move your data to the other partition, you shouldn`t be storing any data on C

Try this WinDirStat - Windows Directory Statistics

then post a snip for us to look over. To post a snip choose Go Advanced in your reply then click the paperclip icon to attach the snip to your reply.
