Laptop restarted by itself, then error message : PCI vendor and device ID do not match
I just walked out of my room, then came back to find that my laptop had restarted itself and was at the boot up logo, except that the fans kept revving up and down (not normal) and it was taking forever to boot into windows. After a while, the boot up logo vanished and i got an error message saying that the PCI vendor and device ID do not match. After restarting twice, i was able to get into the BIOS, but the BIOS was lagging which was very unusual. After maybe 15 minutes or so, i was able to get into windows. Can anyone tell me what happened?
I am running win 7 64 bit. I did some searching and Intel says it is an issue with an intel lan driver, but i dont have an intel lan card in the first place...
