okay thanks

just an update, I uninstalled displayfusion then tried ultramon and while it did allow me to start lotus on another monitor after playing with a few settings, it also appeared to run into conflicts because explorer kept crashing, plus the lotus right-click dialogs actually would not even appear, so I uninstalled it and am back with displayfusion now.

Try this:
1) Open Lotus 123, make sure it's maximized
2) Use the Windows key and the right or left arrow key to move it to what ever monitor you want it to open on.
3) Close Lotus 123.
Then try opening it up and see what it does.

Is there a key or combination of keys that you press to bring up the start menu?

okay thanks, some new progress to report

ctl-esc-1 and ctl-esc-2 each produces no effect on my Ortek keyboard, so I shutdown, borrowed a normal keyboard, restarted and just got these results...

win-1 unmaximizes and moves the lotus window from screen to screen. And as long as I keep it unmaximized, once its closed it will re-open on the screen it was last on. If I maximize it and close it, it always re-opens on the primary

shift-win-1 maximizes it and moves it from screen to screen while keeping it maximized. As soon as I close it, it always re-opens on the primary.

Has to be something with Lotus, but like I said earlier, l have no experience with it. I could ask another forum member for help.

Lotus 123 is a spreadsheet program similar to Excel. As the OP has said his version is a millennium version so it's pretty old.

Johnhoh. Do you use your dual monitors in extended format, if you do you can drag Lotus across to the other screen. While on dual monitors if you use a keyboard with a Windows Key, you can select monitor layout by using the Windows - P key.

yes I do use extended desktop, and do drag lotus to the secondary monitor every time I start it, because I cannot get it to start on the secondary monitor unless its unmaximized. My goal is to get it to start maximized on the secondary monitor.
