A very strange and unusual occurrence

Just a moment ago i closed my laptop and was about to prepare for sleep when i heard the windows 7
Start up jingle. This was very strange and it spooked me quite a bit so i opened it only to find ive been
signed out??I mean sure when i close it,it signs me out but it was as if i rebooted the computer. Did the
laptop reboot itself or something? I'm doing a scan to make sure it's not due to a virus (Since i did download a couple new games but it's from a site i've been using for a year and i haven't had any problems.)I'm a bit
spooked atm tbh.

It may be that Windows Update restarted the computer.
You can see the updates installed on update history - Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Windows Update\View update history
