    Turquoise Screen on Boot up

When I turned my desktop PC on today the monitor gave me a turquoise screen, (not a blue screen), even before the welcome message, or anything at all. It was the first thing that happened, and there was no message and no mouse pointer. My virus protection is up to date and scanned (showing no problems), and I had not installed any updates or programs before I shut it down yesterday - there had been no changes of any kind. After about 10 or 15 seconds it booted properly and has been working as normal. Does anyone know what the cause was and how to fix it? Many thanks.

I think its more because of a fault with hardware like video card, display connectors .

Thanks, I'll check the display connectors aren't lose, but I think the video card is part of the PSU. There isn't a separate video card as it wasn't needed when I built this rig. And it didn't happen when I turned the PC on today. It seems to be just a very intermittent fault. If it happens again and I can't fix it I'll take it to my local repair man.
