    "Run" dialog and desktop problems

The "Run " problem has been solved, but I can't change the title.

I have about 40 icons on the desktop. I have no themes, and choose my own wallpaper and desktop settings. On a light -colored wallpaper, the icon text should be black, and white on a dark background.

This is usually automatic. Starting this morning, the text is black all the time. There's no setting in Personalization for choosing the icon text color. I'm now limited to only very light or solid color wallpapers. Logging off and on a few times didn't help.

I did NOT touch the registry today or yesterday, in fact not all week, and there's nothing I could have touched in Classic Shell for the desktop.

That's great! I never knew that. Do you have any idea why it's no longer automatic?

Glad to hear it seems to have helped you. I don't know why it's no longer automatic.

Yes, the medium is the message.
