    Drive Permissions and Ownership Problem

    Hi guys,

I'm running Windows 10 and I accidentally denied all permissions on a Drive D to all users, including myself. After that, I reinstalled Windows in the hopes that the permissions would be reset. However, when I reinstalled Windows, I still couldn't access the drive so I tried to change the ownership in security settings. Initially, that seemed to work fine, but then I ran into this error:

"Permission error - Failed to enumerate objects in the container. Access is denied."

Please help me out guys, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks! :)

You'll probably get better help if you post in our Windows 10 sister forum. The people there are more up to date on Windows 10.

Did you take ownership of folders not files you may need to do each folder and you may need to give system rights depending on what's in folders. If you don't have lots of may be quicker booting a free Linux CD and copying files then delete folders
