Im trying to download a cleaner and antivirus but I get a pop-up that says "security setting will not let you download this file." This also happened when trying to download other files from the internet to save to my laptop. Im wondering how to change the settings so I can download from the internet
Welcome to the forum. Are you logged in as admin and is this a home pc or work pc? Some details of the pc would help
My first wild guess is: either the firewall or the anti-virus/anti-malware combine is stopping the download. I have no idea what security programs you have, however, they should have buttons to push that will let you exclude the download[s] from being blocked.
Can you take a screenshot of the warning?
Also, what browsers(s) are you using?
Strangely enough, yesterday someone showed me a download issue that they were having on Google Chrome.
