Did you sa a DR in the Caribbean? What's your electricity like? Any power outages or brownouts? You might need to run from a good UPS like UPC or Tripp.
Any power spikes? You might need a line conditioner, also from UPC or Tripp.
Even mini brownouts and mini spikes can damage electronics, so I've heard. Wondering if this is your issue. Investigate before you buy something since these are not cheap, and batteries need to be replaced every two years.
if your machine will not boot, that means you will need to employ Scenario 2 instead of Scenario 1 in order to prepare your boot drive
and since you cannot download the drivers ahead of time, you can just load them using the DVD that comes with the motherboard if you have a spare DVD drive somewhere, or if you have no DVD drive, you can download them using a different computer onto a USB drive, then put that USB drive into one of the black USB ports on the new motherboard and load the drivers that way. The black USB ports are USB 2.0 so they will not need special drivers, but your USB 3.1 ports will not work until they have drivers installed. Also note - Once you prep your hard drive using the Scenario 2 steps, then boot to the desktop, its possible that your ethernet port will work automatically. If so, you can skip the USB and just download your drivers from the motherboard site.
