registry leak

Hi. I recently did a disk check on my laptop and the result came back as this...
"Windows detected your registry file is still in use by other applications or services. The file will be unloaded now. The applications or services that hold your registry file may not function properly afterwards. "

Prior to the diskcheck it was slow and kind of buggy, like i would turn off the internet and still hear sounds from the last website i was on.
What should I do?

Hi mousemech,

I would suggest to reboot your pc and run the disk check again.

Hi, ran another checkdisk and it came back normal, (I did the /R the first time). Thank you for your imput. It still is sort of slow, and games freeze up or flashplayer stops working quite often, but i am getting used to that now.
