    How Do I ??????????


    Hello all , I'm new to this site and Windows 7 , I would like to know how I can get rid of the Favorites that show up when I click my URL drop down box , How can I get rid of the favorites showing ??? , thaks to all who reply

    You mean Windows Explorer favourite places, or IE8 recently typed or visited urls?

    I will assume you mean the IE favorites,that you visit often. Click on favorites. Then right click on the one that you want to delete, then click on delete.

    If you want to delete your browsing history, go tools>internet options>delete browsing history.

    Tools>delete browsing history

    Its the favorites, its showing favorites that I haven't even went on lately , and if I delete them , does it delete in my favorites ??

    Under IE8 Safety tab>Delete history.

    safety tab , didn't work , it jusy deleted the history , all the favorites are still there, its showing favorites that I don't want to see when I hit the drop down box in my URL

    rich , thank you , but thats not working , I understand what your telling me about the history thats typed in , but for some reason , its showing favorites from my favorites menu in the URL , below what I have typed into the URL

    I know what you want. My computer>Drive C:/>properties>disk clean up
