He didn't state this was the RTM and if it's the RC then getting a key is not an issue, if it is RTM then he can still finish the installation and enter the product key latter, I think the main thing to consider is getting Vista working again so his mother doesn't kill him.
I would advise going into msconfig after the installation is complete and set Vista as the default OS and then if you do not intend to keep Windows 7 or enter a legitimate activation key then you delete the Windows 7 partition and return to Vista and delete the the Windows 7 boot entry.
Anyone disagree?
1st - i didnt know i was using an illigal version...
2nd - i will do as riper said ... or ill buy an activision key... or i will del it from my system
must i pres F2 to go to the setup menu?
This tells us he's a novice and came here looking for help. I don't understand why some people just want to waste his time having him respond to allegations of an illegal activity. The fact is he downloaded malicious software that harmed his machine. Let's stick to fixing that problem.
Dam... i just can get it to work... it allways give the same error ==='''(((( im a dead man...
Sounds like you really need to get into Vista and delete that partition and any boot entry that has been made and forget about trying again until you get a legitimate copy.
If you cant get into the boot selection screen to boot Vista then you may have to consider trying to download a copy of Vista so you can try the repair options on that.
