mouse cursor not visible

    mouse cursor not visible


    Hi,dont now if im in right section,im a new user.
    When using windows 7 repair disk the mouse cursor disappears ,im using a wireless mouse,can not use keyboard either ,im stuck on select language screen

    Hi Pipeblaster, welcome to the Forum.

    Wireless mice & keyboards wont usually work in installation or repair mode. For best results you need wired ones, but in the meantime you can navigate the screen with the Arrow keys.

    Cursor not visible


    Thank you for your reply.I suspected that may of been the problem,but unfortunately the keyboard is inoprative also,so i cant use arrow keys and the keyboard is wired

    I forgot to mention ,even if the keyboard worked there is no cursor on the screen when using windows repair.I can use keyboard to install windows,but not with windows repair disk,The one you use when you back up windows and then it prompts you to make a repair disk

    Some motherboard BIOS allow for setting options, so check in your BIOS to see if there are options for setting the keyboard & for wired mice.

    I see your motherboard has P/S2 capabilities.
    That should work.

    Cursor not visible,on windows repair disk


    Thank you Jack for your reply and i can assure you for all my efforts ,cursor or key board are inoperative on win 7 repair disk,so i used Acronis to repair comp
