Is there still a way we can get privacy with our computers

How can we guarantee we maintain privacy on our operating systems and from Internet providers.

It seems with the trajectory of technology and law are privacy is disappearing with our computers and many of us are looking to maintain this in the future.

How can we make our operating systems and Internet secure and private. Thanks.

The sad fact is, anymore now, the only way to guarantee privacy is to disconnect from the internet and encrypt everything on the computer.

You could use a VPN to make yourself anonymous! I use VPNBOOK As well as a proxy like Ultrasurf Another thing you should do while using one of these two option is to prevent your DNS from revealing you true IP and location. If your using Firefox or Chrome, look here to find out how. Securing from DNS Leaks Also here's another option to look at. How can I fix a DNS leak?
