Matroska movie - how to burn it to DVD?

I have an MKVmovie that plays without a hitch on my computer.

But when I try to play it on my TV (via my Western Digital TV Live media player), there's no audio.

I think my best option would be to burn the file to DVD and play it that way.

But I'll need to convert the MKV file to a format that will burn to DVD and run in the player.

    Anyone ever tried this?

It is possible but our Rule 4 prevents discussion as this could be used to breach intellectual property rights
