Change bookmarks icon and if possible view my folders like xp.

Hello. I read a few articles and I really like your site very much. What I want is two things. 1.) I have a lot of bookmarks and saved them in one bookmark.html on my desktop. The icon is the one of the default browser. I want to change that to another icon without creating shortcut. 2.) In my desktop I have windows 7 64 bit and in my laptop XP 32 bit. I will put XP in both of them because of one thing: the folder view. What I mean is that I have many family videos and photos and the thumbnail and folder preview in XP for me is excellent. I do not like the new folders icon and the new folder view. This is the only thing that keeps me from upgrading. So what I want to ask is this: Is there a way (registry hack, software, etc) that I can have the XP folders icon and view in windows 7, 8 or 10? Thank you very much in advance for any answers.

Not sure if you going to achieve what you want.
    1) Right click on the bookmark.html - properties - Change icon.
    2) Open Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Folder Options and set the view tab.
2a) Open Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Personalization and set theme as windows classic.

Can you post screenshots of both the desired and actual views?

Hello and thank you for your answers. Here is what I mean: 1) When I right click on the bookmark.html - properties there is no "change icon" in any tab. Only if I create a shortcut I have this option. 2.) About folders and folder view: 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. I hope this helps.

I think my only option would be if microsoft made a 2 desktop environment system. Just like in ubuntu before unity, they created an os with gnome and unity together. Anyway I will stay with XP for now and I leave this thread open in case someone finds a solution and helps others.
