Inventory Management System

Sorry if this is in the wrong section, but I am hoping someone can help me nonetheless. My company is looking for an inventory system that works with Active Directory. Preferably something that is cloud based. Also, we would like a hand held device that you scan the bar code on the laptop/ workstation/ etc and it registers this information with the AD. Please let me know if you have any recommendations or any company's that we should avoid.
