If I understand you question. You should be able to do this.

Open Notepad and copy and paste from one source to Notepad.
Then go to the other source and copy and paste what you want to Notepad.
Then select from the upper left corner of Notepad (File).
There will be a list of method to save.

For what you want to do I think you may need third party software. In the following link to such software have a read of the reviews, especially the third one and see if it will fit your wants/needs. http://alternativeto.net/software/ditto/

The clipboard is only able to store one copy. You better try to copy it to your Microsoft word or something.

Windows 7 does not come with Clip Board.
That is why I recommend NotePad.
One could also use WordPad.

One could install the old XP Clipboard but I don't know why one would.

There is the option of Control-Click and Drag and Shift-Click and Drag in some applications which allows you to build a selection of non-contiguous text and or Other objects, for copy or move operations - Available in Office and some other applications

Pleas andreaugust, I'm not in the mood.

As far as I know Clipboard in not native to Windows 7.
Plus Clipboard in not on either of my systems. Be aware if I'm wrong a qualified person with let me know in a polite manner.

Please read from Microsoft.

Where Is The Clipboard on Windows 7 - Microsoft Community

Quote:
Unlike XP, the clipboard cannot be viewed in Windows 7. You need a copy of clipbrd.exe from an XP computer. It is located in C:\WINDOWS\system32. Copy it into the same folder in Windows 7 and to run it, click the Windows Orb (Start), type clipbrd and press Enter.
PS: I'm going to do some more research to see what I can find.

Jack

Edit:
There are some sites that say you can also copy the Clipbrd.exe from Vista.
I really don't know. I have never tried Vista.
